Covert Conversion Pro (CCP)

Overview and Concept

Covert Conversion Pro (CCP)

Covert Conversion Pro (CCP) will track ALL of your marketing activities that are generating traffic AND sales, whether these sales are a result of promoting Affiliate Programs or from promoting your Own products.

These marketing activities can be:

  1. PPC: Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing, MSN Adcenter
  2. Organic traffic from search engines
  3. Other environments: Email, Ezine, Text Link Ad, Partners, Signature, Forums, Videos, Blog Posts, Guestbooks

Get free info on CCP by filling up the form below:

Name: *
Email: *

In the first two above, covert conversion pro tracks all of the keywords which generate traffic AND sales, thus letting you know which keywords convert the best. The benefit of this of course is so you can optimize your PPC campaigns for these keywords and your landing pages or sales pages for these keywords. It means that you can eliminate all the non profitable side of your monetizing strategy.

Finally, by allowing you to track all of your other sources of traffic (other environments) you can have a wholistic approach to traffic conversion. All of the traffic not related to a keyword search, but to a link displayed in a given environment. (For example, you write a newsletter and want to track the conversion from this newsletter. This script will create a simple link that will track conversion, whether you're promoting an affiliate program or your own product.)

In other words: in this case, you do not track keyword, but the "environment" which generated the traffic and the sale.

This is what Covert Conversion Pro is about : which keyword, which environment are converting the best for your affiliate programs, your own products, AND how you can optimize your whole traffic generation and traffic conversion strategies.

Key Features of Covert Conversion Pro (CCP):

In a nutshell, Covert Conversion Pro (CCP) allows you to easily track the conversion from ALL of your online marketing efforts.

Covert Conversion Pro (CCP) User Interface

Specifically, CCP allows you to:

  1. Easily Track Your PPC Advertising- Whether you use AdWords, Yahoo PN, or MSN AdCenter for your PPC advertising CCP tells you what is making you money and what is not so that you can focus ONLY on the profitable campaigns. Never again dedicate time, resources, or your hard earned cash to losers.
  2. Easily Track Your Organic Search- Not only will CCP tell you what PPC campaigns are working for you, it will also tell you how you're converting with your organic search listings. That's right- this isn't just geared for affiliate promos- this is geared for your ENTIRE business. Always know what is making you money and what needs fine tuning to quickly increase your profits!
  3. Easily Track "Environments"- Understanding your conversions is crucial to your success… in fact, try to get a big hitter JV to mail for you without knowing what your numbers are. With environment tracking you'll know how you're converting with email promos, ezine ads, text links, partners, forum sigs, videos, blog posts- and everywhere else that you're selling. This eliminates the once time consuming process of trying to single out the unique visitors from a solitary campaign and tracking just those sales to determine your profits. With CCP it's all right there for you, point and click simple, and stats at a glance!
  4. Automatically Create & Easily Edit Your Landing Pages For Tracking- No other application has this kind of ease and flexibility. CCP will automatically create your tracking package and has a built in file editor so you can add the tracking codes right to your web pages from within CCP with the click of a button!. Forget about ftp, cPanel, DreamWeaver, or FrontPage, copy, paste…- you do it all from within CCP in mere minutes!
  5. Easily integrate with your Link Cloaking Software/Script. CCP does not cloak link (as most do not want to change their habits and move from their favorite link cloaking solution), but it has be designed so that it integrates with your Link Cloaking System. It has been tested with the best 2 solutions on the market Stealth Affiliate and Go Try This (also black hat edition).
  6. And SO much more!

Read more about CCP by clicking here.

Comparison with Other Applications in the Market:

Before Covert Conversion Pro, there are already three similar applications on the market:

  1. XRay Domination
  2. Affiliate Radar
  3. Xtreme Conversions

Because these applications were developed by different owners in the past, they all have different features with their pros and cons.

So the only way to compare them is to evaluate them in terms certain key features.

We have identified three main key features as follows:

  1. Is it hosted on your own server?
  2. Does it track all sales?
  3. Is it affordable?

Below is the result of the comparison:

COLUMN———————–A–B–C
XRay Domination———-Y–N–N ($1500)
Affiliate Radar————-N–Y–N ($1164 per year)
Xtreme Conversions——-Y–Y–N ($177 regular price - $97 in special offer)
Covert Conversion Pro—–Y–Y–Y ($67)

LEGEND:
Column A: Hosted On Your Server?
Column B: Tracks All Sales?
Column C: Affordability?
Y: Yes
N: No

As you can see, CCP comes out top in terms of the three key features.

Better'n'Cheaper Sponsorship Program (BNCSP):

CCP is developed by a team of top programmers who believe in providing state-of-the-art applications at rock-bottom prices- a project known as the Better'n'Cheaper Sponsorship Program (BNCSP) which aimed at developing better and cheaper version of an original popular script for the Internet Community.

The CCP is the second product which came out of the BNCSP, following the success of the first product called the Adspypro (ASP). Read more about ASP by clicking here.

The AdspyPro:

In a nutshell, ASP allows you to track and identify profitable ads and affiliate programs without all the painstaking and mind numbing research.

Here is how ASP works:

  1. You log into your copy of ASP to create a campaign of the keywords that you'd like to track and spy on.
  2. ASP proceeds to scour the Internet and collect PPC ads, identifying the affiliate ads vs.. the non-affiliate ads.
  3. ASP then tracks those ads for the length of time that you've told it to, and gathers up all kinds of juicy competitive information for you.
  4. Reports are generated and provide you with the "profit signals". These are your go-ahead campaigns, the one's that will stuff your pockets with cash.

Launched earlier this year (2007), the ASP was a huge success and received lots of positive feedback from the Internet community.

ASP is being sold at $67. It has all the features of two other similar applications in the market ie., X-Ray Domination ($1,500) and Undercover Profits ($3,300+ per year), but at a fraction of the cost!

ASP has been a big success. Thousands of copies have been sold within a few months. Four updates were released todate and we have proved that we were able to develop a much better and much cheaper version than the original script.

This success of ASP proved to you that the CCP will be equally successful in terms of:

  1. The quality of the script,
  2. The continuing R&D for future update, and
  3. The continuing support for the product!

Review of Remotely-Hosted Autoresponders

In this review, four remotely-hosted autoresponders are covered. The first three are leading brandnames in the market, while the last is showing good potential.

  • Get Response
  • Aweber
  • Royal Responder
  • Email Aces

Get Response

Of all the remotely-hosted autoresponders in the market, GetResponse and Aweber are recognized to be among the best.

In terms of features, GetResponse has probably outmatched Aweber in a few key aspects, and at a cheaper price too.

GetResponse currently provides unlimited use of its autoresponders with unlimited follow-up messages and number of subscribers. It provides 19 alternative domain names for sending messages.

It has a spam-check feature to avoid detection by other ISP's spam filters, and provides a list builder service to help you build your opt-in list (at a cost).

However, prospects can see your account name whey they want to unsubscribe. So you must choose an account name which help others to associate with your business.

The price starts at $17.95 per month for a basic account, with a refund period of 30 days. They provide a toll-free phone support.

Prices are discounted to $47.85, $87.70 and $145.40, respectively, if you pay 4, 6 or 12 months in advance.

Getresponse is a reputable company with a proven track record. Its main attraction is it provides an autoresponder with lots of features at a competitive price.

You can sign up for a free account which is ad-supported (five-line ad) and limit you to only five follow-up messages. Give it a try, if you really like it you can upgrade to a paid account.

Aweber

Aweber, founded in 1998, is recognized as the leader in the autoresponder business because of its features and its proven track record.

Like GetResponse, Aweber provides unlimited use of its autoresponders with unlimited follow-up messages. But unlike the former, you can store only the first 10,000 subscribers free, each additional 10,000 costs $9.95.

One good thing about Aweber is they always come out with new features based on the latest technology.

It provides ad tracking features for all types of advertisements, a spam checker and good graphical statistics.

However, prospects can see Aweber in the unsubscribe link. So they will know you are using the service of a remote host.

The price is $19.95 per month. Prices are discounted to $53.85, $101.70 and $179.40, respectively, if you pay 4, 6 or 12 months in advance.

Unlike GetResponse, there is no free trial at Aweber. The "test drive" feature on Aweber does not really let you try out the system. Instead, it sends out a series of emails. However, there is a 30 day refund period. They provide a toll-free phone support.

Royal Responder

Royal currently provides unlimited use of its autoresponders with unlimited follow-up messages, but additional charges if you exceed a certain number of subscribers.

The price starts at $9.95, $15.95 and $21.95 per month for 1, 5 and unlimited autoresponders. However, if you exceed 30,000-10,000 subscribers you must upgrade by paying $29.95 a month. It comes with a 30 day refund period.

Prices are discounted to $99.95, $159.95 and $219.95, respectively, for 1, 5 and unlimited autoresponders if you pay 12 months in advance.

It has the same good features found in other autoresponders.

You can sign up for a free account which is ad-supported. Give it a try, if you really like it you can upgrade to a paid account.

Email Aces

Email Aces is relatively new in the market. The company appears to be very strict about spam, and this is a plus. It has a very competitive pricing for the same great features provided by others, including a spam-checker.

The price starts at $8.95, $14.95 and $19.95 per month for 1, 10 and unlimited autoresponders, respectively.

But they impose limits of 2,500, 5,000 and 10,000 subscribers and 500, 2,000 and 5,000 subscriber imports a month for 1, 10 and unlimited autoresponders, respectively.

Like GetResponse and Royal Responder, Email Aces provides a free trial which includes about themselves. But you need to click the P.S.S. link at the bottom of the index.htm page to be able to find it.

There is a 30 day refund period. So you can sign up and go for a test drive.

Comparing All Host Types

This section compares the three major types of autoresponders as follows:

  • Remotely hosted,
  • Locally hosted, and
  • Desktop-hosted types.

Locally/desktop hosted autoresponders have several important advantages over remotely-hosted ones.

By hosting the autoresponder on your own website, you have complete control over the program.

You can have unlimited number of autoresponders with your own domain name inside e.g., webmaster@my-domain-name.com, which matches your domain name (my-domain-name.com).

If your autoresponder is remotely hosted, you will not be able to get an autoresponder that matched your domain name.

Instead, you will most likely get one that looks like: ezine@remote-host-name.com.

Notice by having your own domain name in the email address, it makes it much clearer to your potential subscribers that you are sending them messages, and your messages will not be treated as spams.

Another advantage of having your domain name in the email address is you can conceal the fact that you are using an autoresponder to send your prospects messages.

This makes it difficult for people to tell whether or not you are sending them messages using an autoresponder!

Imagine what your subscribers may think if they start receiving emails from the email address ezine@remote-host-name.com trying to promote something on your website with the domain name http://my-domain-name.com (whose email address is webmaster@my-domain-name.com).

They know right away they are receiving messages from an autoresponder.

If you are a subscriber, would you like to receive messages from an autoresponder?

Or you would prefer to receive messages from a real person who gives you individual attention?

I think you prefer a real person right?

By having an autoresponder with your own domain name inside, it makes it less obvious that you are using an autoresponder.

Besides, it also projects an image of professionalism in your website.

However, if you are just starting out and have a limited budget on how much you are willing to spend initially, then a remotely hosted autoresponder may be cheaper in the short term.

However, in the medium to long term, it is likely to be more expensive as the monthly charges quickly add up.

So if you are in this situation, I suggest that you start with a remotely hosted autoresponder first.

As soon as you have save up enough capital, invest in a locally-hosted autoresponder.

It is worthwhile for you to do so, as you can enjoy more features and more effective responses in your online marketing campaign.

There are many remotely hosted autoresponders on internet. Examples: Getresponse, Aweber, etc…

You can go to their websites to find out more and to sign up.

More about this later.

Table Comparing Host Types

Following is a table comparing the major host types. You can use it to decide on the right type of autoresponder for you.

Main Features Remote Local Desktop
Must use the host's domain name in your autoresponder YES NO NO
Monthly fee YES NO NO
Restriction on no. of autoresponder SOME NO NO
Restriction on no. of follow-up messages SOME NO NO
Restriction on no. of subscribers SOME NO NO
Restriction on no. of domains or copies YES SOME SOME
Restriction on import or export database SOME NO NO
Require 24 hr dedicated PC & internet access NO NO YES
Difficulty in setting up NO SOME SOME
Problem handling large mailing list NO NO YES
Host dependency NO YES YES
Problem in customization YES NO NO
Limited features NO YES YES
Score* 6 3 5

*YES (1 pt) SOME (0.5 pt) NO (0 pt)

Interpretation: A lower score is better.

*YES (1 pt) SOME (0.5 pt) NO (0 pt)

Interpretation: A lower score is better.

Remotely hosted autoresponders have the following disadvantages:

  • You cannot use your own domain name in the autoresponder.
  • You must pay a monthly fee.
  • Some have restrictions on the number of autoresponders, no. of follow-up messages and no. of subscribers.
  • You are limited to only one copy of the program.
  • Limit on import or export of database.
  • Little room for customization.

Locally hosted autoresponders have the following disadvantages:

  • Some limit you to a certain no. of domains you can install.
  • Some technical knowledge is required for the setting up of the script. This is not a problem if the vendor provides free installation.
  • The script is host-dependent in the sense that it needs to use your server's resources.
  • Less features than the remotely-hosted type.

Desktop autoresponders have the following disadvantages:

  • Some limit you to a certain no. of copies of the software you can install.
  • Require 24 hr around-the-clock internet access with dedicated PC.
  • Some technical knowledge is required for the setting up of the script. This is not a problem if the vendor provides free installation.
  • The script is host-dependent in the sense that it needs to use your server's resources.
  • It is not suitable for very large mailing list.
  • Less features than the remotely-hosted type.

Section 4

Advantages & Disadvantages of Desktop-Hosted Autoresponders

How do they work?

Desktop hosted autoresponders are programs which are run directly on your own workstation or computer.

These types of autoresponders may or may not be cheaper or easier to use than the locally hosted type.

The biggest disadvantage is that you need to have the program running on a dedicated computer with an around-the-clock access to the internet via a high speed broadband connection. The use of a dial-up connection simply would not be adequate.

This usually involves the purchase and installation of a program on your computer.

Desktop-hosted autoresponders are more suitable for non-professional marketers who have a small subscriber list.

For professional marketers who have a large subscriber list, these are not recommended.

Advantages & Disadvantages

If you are a professional internet marketer or has a large subscriber list, you should consider a locally-hosted autoresponder and not a desktop autoresponder because:

  • Technical superiority and reliability as it is hosted on a web server.
  • Ease of expansion to meet growing demand as multiple autoresponders can be added.
  • Ability to handle large subscribe list.
  • Lower overall cost- no need for a dedicated computer with around-the-clock internet access.

Admittedly, desktop autoresponder has its advantages too.

For example, if you are a professional internet marketer, you can use it for automating a lot of the tasks involved in answering emails.

In fact, you may consider using a locally-hosted autoresponder to handle tasks like subscription and follow-up, and a desktop autoresponder to handle tasks like sending a certain email-on-demand or for responding to specific enquiries.

Section 3

Advantages & Disadvantages of Locally-Hosted Autoresponders

How do they Work?

Locally-hosted autoresponders refer to those that are hosted on your own web server.

These are usually scripts or programs that you must install on your web server.

These usually involve the purchase or leasing of a program or script written in Perl, PHP, ASP or some other scripted languages.

These programs often require a database backend as well e.g., mySQL, SQL2000 or Postgres.

After installation, a web browser is used to access these programs e.g., to set up the program, to run it and to backup the subscribers list.

The use of these programs may or may not require some knowledge of the scripting language it is written in.

Installation may be done by the providers of these programs, or you can do it yourself if you have some basic knowledge of tasks like ftp, CHMOD, HTML, CRON and creating databases.

Some of these autoresponders can be quite flexible and have very powerful features.

This option is suitable for you if you are a webmaster who have your own web space.

Advantages & Disadvantages

For professional internet marketers who have a large subscriber list and a growing need for multiple autoresponders, a locally-hosted autoresponder may be the better choice compared to the remotely-hosted ones because:

  • You can buy the program and owned it for life, so there is no monthly charges involved apart from the initial cost in buying the program.
  • You may be able to run multiple copies of the program on multiple websites if the licensing condition allows. Or else you may be able to upgrade for a small fee. It is important that you find out how many copies of the software (and/or websites) you are allowed to install and run the software to determine its real cost.
  • You can have better customization features and better control over the database.
  • You may be able to customize the script further to suit your need by paying the developer a small fee or by doing it yourself (if you are familiar with the scripting language).

Section 2

Advantages & Disadvantages of Remotely-Hosted Autoresponders

How they work?

A remotely hosted autoresponder means that your autoresponder will be hosted on and work from someone else's website rather than your own.

These are web-based subscription services and the provider usually provides you with a HTML form and (the provider's) email address for you to receive emails and to send follow-up messages.

These autoresponders are usually written in Perl, PHP or ASP scripts and are installed on and run from a web server. The programs often require a database backend as well e.g., mySQL, SQL2000 or Postgres.

This option is suitable for you if you do not have your own web space.

This is ideal for beginners who has a fairly small subscriber list and do not require multiple autoresponders.

Advantages & Disadvantages

The main advantage of this type of service is they are very easy to set up and can be fairly reliable.

There are many good services to choose from, some of them have been around for a number of years.

The user does not need a script, a database or a web server. In other words, the services are host-independent i.e., there is no need to seek the permission of your web host to allow you to run any particular services on your site e.g., cgi access or mySQL.

Users of these autoresponders are charged a monthly subscription fee (currently around $20 each month for each account).

There is usually no initial cost involved. So the initial cost of using such a service may be lower than locally-hosted ones which require the purchase of a script or program.

But if you need to run multiple autoresponders, the cost will add up quickly and soon exceed the cost of the locally-hosted ones.

Another drawback is that they can be a bit inflexible with little room for customization. This is because the programs are not hosted on your site and you do not have access to them.

However, remotely-hosted autoresponders usually have more features than the other types of autoresponders e.g., spam checker and list builder. So if you really need these features, you should consider using them.
